said CFOX music director Rob Robson after Mollies Revenge launched a full-on, charisma assult at the Town Pump last Friday. Playing to a sold out house for a combination CD/video release party, lead singer Yvette was the picture of dynamic stage presence as she wailed through a set list that hit every mood and shiver of human recognition. The crew wasn't just tight - it could snap back like a rubber band. Without a doubt, this band has hit the next level of performance. The sound is full, the songs are finding more dynamic range and Yvette's voice is more than a bar-band howl. When she's relaxed, as she was at the end of the set for a gut-bursting disco medly, her range expands and the timbre mellows. With so much edge, the newfound softness makes Mollies one of the most compelling bands in a long, long time. -from the Vancouver Sun, March 26, 1997. NEWS!!! Mollies Revenge at the Modern Rock Circus in Vancouver on April 11, 1997: What a stage presence! Mollies was only given a half hour set, but it was still incredible! The mosh wasn't too bad, so I got pretty close to the stage. They played I Wanna Be, Lola, Humble, Every Dirty Word, Conviction, and Weed. Yvette was full of energy and was running all over the stage and leaning into the audience. It was amazing to watch! After the show the band did an autograph session, and I got the to autograph my CD! Woohoo! And they were all really really nice!
